Our Story
Let’s Write TVM (LWT) is a collective of writers and readers based in Trivandrum, Kerala, brought together by a shared love for the written word. We are a non-judgmental, welcoming space where stories, poems, essays, and ideas are shared freely—whether one is just beginning their writing journey or has been writing for years.
We meet fortnightly at Vyloppilli Samskriti Bhavan to foster conversation, critique, learning, and camaraderie. LWT is not about perfection, but about practice—about listening, experimenting, and finding one’s voice among fellow writers.
And Vyloppilli has been our castle camaraderie with its heritage.
Beyond our regular sessions, LWT has actively participated in prominent literary and cultural platforms, including the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL), Koottam, and Keraleeyam, contributing readings, discussions, and collaborative events. These engagements have enabled our members to showcase their work, connect with wider audiences, and represent Thiruvananthapuram’s growing and diverse writing community.
Let’s Write TVM was envisioned as an inclusive and sustainable space for writers to grow together. Alongside its literary pursuits, LWT is committed to social outreach initiatives, conducting programs in schools and colleges aimed at promoting reading, creative writing, and self-expression among children and young adults, nurturing the next generation of readers and writers.
FOUNDER – Narayan Menon
An entrepreneur, author, and speaker with a strong background in marketing, branding, and storytelling. A Business Management graduate from the UK, he has held leadership roles with global technology companies, including IBM and Novell. His entrepreneurial journey includes launching a travel startup in Bangalore, and he has independently conceptualised and edited a monthly travel magazine. Blending business insight with creative expression, Narayan continues to inspire audiences through writing, mentorship, and public speaking.
Through workshops and events, we strive to enhance writing skills and promote literature appreciation within our community.
